Is Trailmaster a good brand of go karts?
This is one of our most frequently asked questions. The simple answer is a resounding YES! Trailmaster was founded by a powersports expert who spent years running some of the other big brand name companies. When he decided to branch out on his own, he established Trailmaster and poured all of his expertise into creating the ultimate powersports brand.
Where did Trailmaster go karts start?
In the beginning, Trailmaster shared a large factory in China with another major brand. In the late 2010s, Trailmaster grew large enough and raise their standards enough to take over the entire manufacturing facility and process. That other brand couldn’t keep up and is now several years behind on all of the improvements and updates that Trailmaster makes.
Is Trailmaster made in China?
Don’t be scared off by the made-in-China sticker. Did you know that there are no longer any off-road go karts that are built in the USA? All of the American made brands have gone out of business due to liability issues and lawsuits.
Buying from China does not mean that you’re skipping over American companies, because there aren’t any. If any other brands claim to be built in the US, they’re using skillful wording to play on your emotions. All manufacturers import their karts partially assembled in a crate and complete the assembly once the kart is here in the States.
Made in China does not have to mean low quality. Trailmaster has a private manufacturing facility with high quality control standards. We don’t pay some other off brand to build a generic kart and then slap our private label on it. Trailmaster is actually built by Trailmaster. That’s how we are able to focus on such high standards of engineering, quality, performance, features, overall design and price.

The best warranty currently offered on Trailmaster Go Karts is the GoKartMasters.com Master Warranty. This program is absolutely FREE with the purchase of a kart and covers 1 full year of all manufacturer defects. Other dealers may offer different warranty packages with varying fees associated.
Always check your shopping cart with any dealer for any additional fee, taxes, shipping charges, etc. You should only have to pay sales tax if you reside in the same state as the dealership. Be aware of warranty fees, residential shipping costs, lift gate service add ons, and more. Go Kart Masters will never charge additional fees, shipping, warranty charges, or assembly fees.
We strongly suggest all go kart riders wear a DOT approved full face helmet. Operating a go kart comes with risks and you should prepare yourself and other riders with the proper gear.
